HI Gabe7. If your TV does not have a built-in Dolby Atmos Decoder or does not have Dolby Atmos Pass Through, then it will not pass Dolby Atmos signal through to the LG 5.1.2 ch High Resolution Audio Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos, Model # SJ9. If your TV has Dolby Atmos Pass Through, then anytime you play a video source that has Dolby Atmos, it will pass through to the SJ9 which can decode the signal...^IFV
