“Does Atmos only work on certain TVs? I have my SJ9 pluuged in with an HDMI Arc cable to my TV, but my TV is the LG 60PN5700. How do I know if Atmos is actually working or not? I'm using the Apple TV 2016 for all my movie/show viewing. Any help appreciated”

Your TV has to support Dolby Atmos to send Dolby Atmos signal to your soundbar. Also, I don’t think Apple TV supports Dolby Atmos yet. And when Apple TV does update to support Dolby Atmos, I think it will only be the 2017 Apple TV 4K model that will have Dolby Atmos.

Hi Brandon. Unfortunately, your LG 60" Class 1080P 600Hz Plasma TV with Smart TV (59.8” diagonal), Model # 60PN5700 does not have a built-in Dolby Atmos decoder so it will not pass the Dolby Atmos signal to your LG 5.1.2 ch High Resolution Audio Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos, Model # SJ9...^IFV
