• Hi Huckleberry. Which of the matching dryers for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.2 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Front-Loading Washer with Steam, Model # WM8100HVA are you inquiring about? This washer can be matched with the Matching Electric Dryer, Model # DLEX8100V or the Matching Gas Dryer, Model # DLGX8101V. On Electric Dryers, you can vent the em to the left or to the right and on Gas Dryers, you can only vent them to the left. Right side venting is not available on Gas Dryers. You will need to purchase an adapter kit, Part # 383EEL9001B that contains the necessary duct components to change the dryer vent location...^IFV

• No side ventilation cut-outs that I notice on mine. It has options for rear and bottom venting. If crafty, can maybe cut a side hole and make a side vent, but this also just adds another bend into your exhaust/vent system.
