Probably not. This is a 29 inch wide washer and most older pedestals would be only 27 inches. Also, we were told that LG changed the mounting, so they wouldn't connect in the same places. You want a secure mounting with something that is going to be spinning at over 1000 RPMs and have all that water weight. They aren't cheap, but better to have one that fits properly or not have it at all. The machines are really nice to use -- had ours nearly 2 months now.
