Yes, this washer can be stacked with a dryer. Washer would be on the bottom, dryer on top. These front load washers do tend "shimmy and shake" as they are in the spin cycle. We have ours side by side and this is not a problem. If you stack, they would need to be on a concrete floor or very well supported first (over a basement) or second floor space. We had a Samsung before the LG and they both are similar as the washer begins to spin the load and get up to speed. One thing to be aware is that this is a large capacity washer (which is awesome and we love it) but, they are larger dimensionally so depending on your height, stacking may make reaching the upper unit challenging. We went from Samsung 4.5 CF washer (27' wide) to this LG model (29" wide). The LG large capacity washer is wider, taller and deeper than our previous Samsung that we thought was big. The LG is an awesome washer, and my wife loves the capacity, but they are physically bigger and we were surprised at first how much of a difference this was in our laundry room. I highly recommend this washer and we love the features and capacity!
