I don’t think so. I use extra rinse to increase water in unit. I think manufacturers (most of them) sensors use too little water. My sister with different brand has same problem. She wets down clothes to fool her unit to add more weight so it will add more water. I just use extra rinse.

The agitator version is even worse as the clothes to the outside of the bowl don't even get moved by the agitation. The impeller version seemed to work slightly better. I also thought about wetting the clothes to add weight for the sensor but I am just going to return the unit within the 15 day period, as soon as I find a unit with manual water levels.
