• I don't know the actual # in pounds but I do know that I have washed 2 complete sets of towels, 2 complete queen bedsheets and 3 beach towels in my new washer at one time. I love it.

• I am not sure of the weight, but I can do 8 pairs of Jeans and about 4 pairs of sweat pants and they come out clean and fresh smelling. I choose the heavy duty setting and it works great.
