• The lid locks when the Start/Stop button is press. You can pause the cycle to lift the lid. If necessary, add additional items to the tub while the Add Garment light is on. This light turns on at the beginning of the wash cycle to indicate when it is safe to add items to the tub. Press the Start/Pause button to pause the cycle and add items to the tub. Press the Start/Pause button to resume the cycle. Adding items after the Add Garment light turns off may result in poor wash performance. ^Daphane
