“Is this washing machine completely flat on the back? I have a very limited space to put my washer and dryer, as they fit on either side of the door going into my garage. I need to allow space behind for hoses, so washer must be flat on the back.”

The top control panel extends about 5 inches on the upper back beyond the 'flat' portion. However; you also need to allow for the two metal hoses that connect to your water source, and one flexible hose. You don't want them flat against the wall, to avoiding crimping and stopping water flow.
