Just in the tub! Works just fine! My only complaint is with such large capacity, the detergent dispenser does not hold much :/

Ft. 12-Cycle Smart Wi-Fi Top-Loading Washer with TurboWash3D™ Technology - Graphite Steel, Model # WT7800CV or in the dispenser for any washing machine. They have to be placed in the tub before loading your laundry. Be sure to follow the instructions on the packaging for detergent pods as given by the manufacturer...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just toss them into the tub before you add your clothes. They won't work correctly if you place them in the dispenser. We've been using Tide PODS for a while and have had no issues with this washer by simply adding them to the tub before we add clothes. Generally, two PODS is enough. Three for really big loads.
