• Yes it can be reversed. It also opens from the top as well. Highly recommended

• Just purchased this combo and briefly looked at the same thing myself. It can, but required a lot of effort that I wasn't willing to go through. From what I remember, it included switching the hinges, but also taking the door itself apart to make that switch work. I'm content with the door opening two other ways!
