Don’t know exact amount of amperage required, but I run the refrigerator, freezer and 12,000 BTU air conditioner on same 15 AM circuit with no problem.

Initial inrush current lasts for less than a quarter second, this peaks out and dimishes rapidly in a declining logarithmic curve. It stabilizes at less than 2 amps. Perhaps even closer to an amp and a half.
