• Even though page 25 in the owner's manual for the LG 5.8 Cu. Ft. Smart Freestanding Gas True Convection Range with EasyClean® and InstaView® - Stainless Steel, Model # LRGL5825F, does not mention whether the griddle needs to be pre-seasoned, most cast-iron griddles for range ovens require pre-seasoning before their first use to create a non-stick surface, prevent rust, and ensure even heating. While some, particularly stainless steel models, may not need it, most cast iron accessories require this "burn-in" process to avoid food sticking...^Ivan.
