“What can you use to clean the top of range, not the grate. My old range says not to use paper towels or baking soda, or harsh powders. No aluminum foil on and around top burners.”

• Spray the cleared range top surface with a grease remover. Do not use chlorine bleach, ammonia or other cleaners. Use a soft, dry cloth to remove all food and grease residue. Do not use abrasive cloths, sponges, or cleaners which may dull or scratch the surface.
