“If the griddle plate is cast iron, should it be washed with plain water or with soap? Has it been seasoned? What can I put over the center area if I don't want the griddle plate there all the time? Do I need anything at all?”

• I wash mine with soap and water it has not been seasoned

• Hi, there. Grates should be washed regularly and after spillovers. • Wash the grates in hot, soapy water and rinse with clean water. • The grates are dishwasher safe. • After cleaning the grates, let them dry completely and securely position them over the burners. ^Vanessa
