Hi, Alfred! Always make sure to defrost the LG - 5.8 cu. Ft Single Door Freezer, Platinum Silver Model: LROFC0605V, once a month. Turn the temperature control dial to the OFF (O) setting. Make sure that the drip tray is properly installed so that water will collect in the tray.
