• This tv also lists an ips panel versus a VA panel. IPS has better viewing angles and color representation, but VA has much lower lag time and supposedly better contrast.

• I'm not sure the energy star answer is correct. They have the same estimated annual cost at $29

• Model 50UH5500 is Energy Star certified. The other model is not.

• Color is the difference. 50UH5500 is all black while 50UH5530 has silver legs and bottom frame.
