The Netflix app is already a pre-loaded app on the LG UK6300PUE 4K HDR Smart LED UHD TV w/ AI ThinQ® - 50" Class (49.6" Diag), Model # 50UK6300PUE and the TV has built-in Wi-Fi so you only need a wireless connection to your router. Unfortunately, without knowing how you receive your DIRECTV service, we are unable to determine what you will need. If you use a set top box for their service, we would need to know what ports it has. You can contact Best Buy at 1-800-433-5778 to let their Geek Squad what type of DIRECTV service you have and they can determine what you will need, if anything, for the hookup...^IFV

I just plugged my satellite receiver into HDMI, then turn on the TV. its setup menu takes you through logging in to your WiFi. the remote has netflix and amazon prime buttons already, so press either and input your user name and password. Instant netflix. Also you can call its smart TV menu across bottom of screen that lets you bring up all sorts of other apps and streaming services. From box to bingeing was about 5 minutes and that's because I had to go look up my passwords.
