QuestionFor some reason its only showing dvds in black n white. Ive tried multiple players, multiple sets of rca jacks/cables and even a new dvd player thinking that maybe the technology just didnt work on a new tv. Checked settings. Thoughts? Thanks!

- Answer The LG 50 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV w/AI ThinQ® (49.5'' Diag), Model # 50UM7300PUA supports Bluetooth so it can be paired with most, if not all Bluetooth enabled Soundbars, via Bluetooth regardless of brand or manufacturer. It features and HDMI port (HDMI IN 2) that supports HDMI ARC functionality which can be connected to any Soundbar that has an HDMI port that also supports HDMI ARC functionality. The TV also has an Optical Digital Audio Out that can be connected to the Optical Digital Audio In on any Soundbar. Check the owner's manual for the Soundbar that you intend to use with the TV. Soundbar manufacturer's will indicate within the owner's manual if the Soundbar can be controlled with another manufacturer's TV remote and they will provide a code or sequence that you can use to program another manufacturer's TV remote. They will also give a list of which brands of TV remotes can be programmed and which functions they will control...^IFV

- Answer It should work everywhere. Worst case you might have to spend $50 to buy a step up transformer and use ti with the TV. It's still cheaper.

- Answer I can not answer the question. My 43” LG couldn’t be fixed so this was the replacement they sent me with my warranty. I’m not a big fan of LG. I’d go with Samsung. I just bought a 55” QLED and it’s awesome.

QuestionIs there a way to select something other than television input for home screen? With only streaming services and the television input as home screen, it's just blaring static as soon as you turn the tv on, until you get Hulu, Netflix, etc., turned on.

QuestionI recently purchased a Toshiba 50F711U20 Amazon Fire--I do not need the streaming service as I have Xfinity service & to use w/Fire I have to go through 3 steps every time I log in. I would like to exchange for basic TV. Any recommendations

What qualifies as a basic TV for you. Is that a non-Smart TV? The LG 50 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV w/AI ThinQ® (49.5'' Diag), Model # 50UM7300PUA has preinstalled Premium Content Provider apps. You don't have to use those apps and you could just use the apps that are available on the set-top box from your cable service provider...^IFV
