• No the Samsung ku6500 is not better. LG has better screen type and better picture quality

• The LG 7700 had HDR, the Samsung 6500 does not. I would go with the LG.

• In order to get best cinema effect you need a curved TV 70 inch or greater. Any less and all you are doing is limiting seating for good view=must seat dead center.
