The LG 55 Inch Class 4K HDR Smart LED TV (54.6'' Diag), Model # 55UM6910PUC has a power rating of 120 VAC, 50/60Hz, but the power is not the issue because you can get a step down transformer (converter) and an adapter for the Type A plug on the TV that is designed for Type A sockets used in the U.S. Different countries overseas will use different types of sockets. What will be an issue is the built-in tuners in the TV. This TV features three built-in tuners, an ATSC tuner, an NTSC tuner and a QAM tuner that are compatible with the television broadcast systems used in the U.S. which are not compatible with the systems used overseas...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you just use a cable like DSTV /MULTICHOICE in Africa, it will work. Most people will not use antenna or connect to local TV stations which are all on the Cable channels. You need a step down/ converter but some LG TVs come with 110-240 volt power system.
