• The stand legs do not have to be connect. The TV is wall mountable using VESA Mounting interface pattern 300 x 300 (W x H). ^Daphane

• Absolutely just make sure when you get the tv you measure properly before you hang it I had an issue where my stand was too small so I needed another one. P.S. make sure your power cords fit properly when you get a new mount.

• The TV comes without the legs attached, you do have 4 mounting points on the back. When I mounted mine , I took the old TV down, swapped the old mount to the new TV and remounted it to the wall. Easy, took 10 minutes. Hope that helps.
