• The TV would be identical in specs and features apart from local dimming feature on the Nano90. ^ Jamal

• I bought the 90 series for a series x as well. The picture is slightly better than the 85 and has an array of LEDs with dimming to help with contrast (I believe the 85 is side lit). The contrast ratios are actually basically the same between the two tvs. If you have the extra $100 or so for the 90 series, I'd get the 90.

• We don't do gaming, but I think that the 90 has more USB and HDMI ports
