“Do I need WiFi to hook up tv & to watch it? I do not have WiFi at the location where tv will be used, but possibly in the future”

• You don't need WiFi for it to function like a regular television. You can connect an Antanea or a cable box or satellite t.v. to the HDMI plug. If you got a DVD player or video game console it has the plug ins for that as welll. Plus if you don't have WiFi but do have an internet connection, you can just plug it in. It'll work and function just fine through the Ethernet cable. Personally I think the Ethernet cable is faster and doesn't disconnect as it would through a WiFi connection.
