“How picky are the burners about pot size? I see that a frigidaire claims to have autosizing so pot size doesn't need to match. I'm wondering how strict matching rules are for this. Thanks”

Pretty strict. I have to use the rear two burners for my smaller pans. The right front burner is for larger size pans and unless you have a family where you use 11-12 in pans to cook in is rarely used by me. The left front burner takes 10 in and above pans.

The inner ring of each cooking element is a guide to the minimum pan size. The bottom of the pan must fully cover the inner ring for proper cooking to occur.
