If your service technician is a qualified, licensed technician, you may want to pay heed to his advice about the gas line required for the 6.3 Cu. Ft. Slide-In Gas True Convection Smart Range with EasyClean, Air Fry, and Flex Control Knobs - Printproof™ Stainless Steel, Model # LSGL6335X. In the owner's manual under 'Connecting the Range to Gas' on page 17, the instructions state "Install a male 1/2" or 3/4" flare union adapter to the NPT internal thread of the manual shut- off valve, taking care to back-up the shut-off valve to keep it from turning.", and state "Install a male 1/2" flare union adapter to the 1/2" NPT internal thread at the inlet of the pressure regulator. Use a backup wrench on the pressure regulator fitting to prevent damage" Under 'Connecting Gas/Providing Adequate Gas Supply' on page 16, the instructions advise "A flexible metal appliance connector used to connect the range to the gas supply line should have an I.D. of 5/8" and a maximum length of 5 feet." You can show these instructions to your gas service technician and he will understand what to use...^Ivan.
