QuestionGriddle for this oven, AEB761247: it says it is cast iron and non-stick? Should it be used the first time without an initial seasoning? Is there a special coating on this which would make it different than another other cast iron griddle. Maintenance?

- Answer Just used the griddle pan for the first time. Does not in anyway appear to be nonstick. A true nonstick pan doesn’t require the use of cooking sprays, grease, or oils. My pancakes were an absolute fail sticking like crazy. I have decided to season the griddle,(IMO it needs it, however it’s just that, an opinion,) I guess I’ll see the results the next time I use the pan.

QuestionLG 6337 gas range: what is the distance from the wall to the front of the range without the handles once installed? Have a dishwasher door clearance issue that opens at a right angle passing across the gas range door. Handles would not be an issue.

QuestionDoes the control panel light up? I have 4 yr old LG range like this and panel does NOT light up - this is very annoying and is very difficult to use.

- Answer NO - It does NOT light up (other than the temperature indicator) - see picture below. If LG claims it lights up, it needs todescribe how to make it do so. As stated by original poster - it IS very annoying and makes it difficult to use, even during daylight hours.

- Answer The one with the 7 has Air Sous Vide and a handle for the storage tray. The one with the 5 has slow cook and no handle on the storage tray.
