“Just got this range and when normal baking (not convection) there is a "whistle" sound coming from the rear of the unit where the hot air escapes. Even when the oven is turned off the sound is still present until the oven cools down. Is this normal?”

• Hi robusto400. The sound that you are hearing when using a normal bake mode on the LG 6.3 cu. ft. Gas Single Oven Slide-in Range with ProBake Convection® and EasyClean®, Model # LSG4513ST is the convection fan which operates periodically throughout a normal bake cycle. This is to ensure even baking results. It may continue to run for a short time after the oven is turned off. This is normal. Page 32 in the Operation section of your owner's manual has a note on this explaining that this is normal...^IFV
