As with all LG Gas Range Ovens with Probake Convection®, the LG 6.9 Cu. Ft. Freestanding Double Oven Gas True Convection Smart Range with EasyClean® and Air Fry - Stainless Steel, Model # LDGL6924S, does not have a hidden or exposed element at the bottom of the oven cavity. The bake element is located on the back wall, rather than the bottom, to provide superior, consistent heat distribution across all racks. This rear-mounted element works with a powerful fan to circulate hot air for faster preheating and more even baking. Even for a normal bake cycle, it is normal for the convection fan to run periodically to ensure even baking results by moving the heat source to the back to ensure consistent cooking on multiple racks simultaneously. The design allows for faster heat-up times compared to traditional bottom-element ovens, and it also eliminates the risk of charring the bottom of a casserole or any baked goods...^Ivan.
