• The depth of 28.9" includes the handles. The handles add approx. 1" to the total depth. Sorry this took so long, I was out of town over the holiday.

• I'd say the measurement from the very back of the range to the front, without the handles, is 28". Because of the slant where the knobs are, the handles make it only about 1/2" more. Hope this helps. I've had the range about a month and love it!
