“Are the speakers front facing as opposed to my current Sharp Aquos 55 in tv where the voice is projected out the sides?”

• there is nothing on the "front" except a very thin 5/8" frame - and the screen - the internal speakers are mounted at the bottom and facing down - the sound is completely adjustable for tone/base - there are several specific settings for talk/music/movies/etc - the sound is EXCELLENT once its adjusted to your preferences - PLENTY of volume - no need for a sound bar -
