If the cable cord that you mentioned is a coaxial cable, you can connect that to the F-Type, 75-Ohm, Coaxial Connector in the back of the LG 60 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV (59.5'' Diag), Model # 60UM6900PUA labeled as 'Antenna/Cable In'. That connection will give you an SD picture. You can also connect an HDMI Out on a cable Set-Top box to any HDMI In on the TV for an HD picture. When you switch the input source to the correct input for either connection, you should get a picture. If you are not getting a picture, then you will need to contact your cable service provider for assistance...IFV
