• 8-bit panel with dithering technology. It was still HDR certified. I compared side-by-side with the 10-bit panel cousin UH9500 and cannot tell the difference in some 4K HDR blurays demoed.

• 8 bit, the 9500 is a 10 bit hence the hefty price increase
