Each mount tells you what it's rated for. Look at the box or manual that came with the mount. Most mounts these days say yu can go 32-60 or 32-70 so just check first

You would have to check the bracket on the back of the current tv. Most brackets in the last few years have been universal, but you may need different size bolts. Most mounts will fit on the larger tv but you will have limited movement on the bracket the bigger the tv is.
