I can't see why you couldn't use your receiver. The TV has Optical out and Bluetooth Capabilities. I switch between both so I don't disturb my wife when she is sleeping. When you change between outputs, the internal speakers are disconnected. The picture is GORGEOUS! Very happy with purchase! Good Luck! TER
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can. I have my Sony Receiver receiving the signal through the optical out of the TV. It all depends on how you want to hook it up honestly. Straight to the TV with the HDMI Cables then optical to the receiver or plug all the HDMI devices into the receiver and then have a signal HDMI run to the TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can hook up your receiver to play through your existing speakers if you choose.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should be able to..Depends what your receiver has for connections.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should. It has optical digital output for sound and I've read on other forums that other use this to use their own receiver and speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, video source (game box / cable / apple tv) all to receiver. Receiver feeds audio to TV and sound to speakers. There are two byproducts to be aware of 1 - how many inputs does your receiver have? If you have as much as I do - Apple TV, Xbox 360 & One, PS3 & PS4, Tivo, HTPC .... you may need a fairly expensive receiver. 2 - when you get complicated with the setup, you need a remote with macros to switch inputs and settings for everything automatically so you don't hunt and peck on the various remotes for 10 minutes. The "smart" remote the cable company gives you is not adequate (and it's not even smart.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, absolutely.
