I spoke with an official LG rep in Best Buy last week and he said we probably won't be seeing the G1 available in Best Buy (or any other major retailers for that matter) until June. I also called Best Buy and have been keeping in touch with one of their reps and received the same news today unfortunately. So, with my countless hours of scouring the internet and multiple phone calls in anticipation of buying this TV as soon as possible - the only legitimate speculative answer I've been told twice now is - most likely sometime in June.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's now June and I got the same answer today when I spoke with someone at Magnolia. I was upgrading from a previous model and since they said they were supposed to get them any day now, they went ahead and let me pay for it since its stock was imminent.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well, we know the previous answer that it will be available in Mid April is wrong. The June timeline might be more accurate. I'm looking forward to buying the LG G1 myself, and I'd certainly like to stop in to my local Best Buy to see it in person before I plunk down around $3,000. What's really annoying, is that the competing Sony OLED, the A90J, is already on the shelves and is selling, while we wait and wait and wait for the LG to arrive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The TV is available at https://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-oled65c1pub-oled-4k-tv and will available for purchase through Best Buy by mid- April. ^Daphane
