“What size screws/bolts (width & length) are needed to mount the tv? I already have a wall mount- purchased a few years ago- but I do not know if the screws currently holding up my Samsung tv will be the right size for this LG tv.”

I have a follow up questions and comments. My bracket came with 12mm and 35mm M6 screws. What does "thickness (depth) of mounting bracket mean exactly? The screw goes through a lock washer, a flat washer and through the bracket (exact guage of metal unknown). Perhaps the better questions are... What is the minimum depth the screw must go in to the back of the TV to secure and support, and What is the maximum depth a screw can go in without damaging anything?! Anything between those would be fine and based on that I can determine what length of screws I need.
