Yes the sound of the TV is good probably better than a lot of other big screen TV brands but on our other big screen TV we had 5.1 surround sound with a stereo receiver But this LG OLED has better sound from the TV than our old TV and you can make adjustments on the sound it has a lot of different sound modes built into the TV We paired this TV with the Sonos Arc sound bar as I wanted to get away from wired sound and change over to wireless but yes was happy with the sound of the TV out of the box
