• The mount allows tv to be pulled out by about 5 inches and then rotated so you have access to the connections.

• The wall mount that comes with it allows for the tv to be pulled away from the wall to add cables if needed. I connected all my cables before hanging the tv but did need to add an HDMI after it was up. It pulls away from the wall relatively easy but doesn't give a lot of room, maybe 6-8 inches. YouTube has a ton of installation videos and you can get good instructions on how to install and pull tv away from wall and push back.
