After removing DTS audio support in the past and reintroducing it with our 2023 and 2024 models LG removed DTS audio support from its 2025 OLED and LCD TVs, marking a significant shift in its audio strategy. This decision affects the all models released in 2025, as DTS support will no longer be available, impacting compatibility with content like Disney+ that relies on DTS:X. The LG 65" Class G4 Series OLED evo 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2024), Model # OLED65G4SUB, supports DTS. The Digital Sound Out can be set as Auto or Passthrough. When the sound input is DTS / DTS Express / DTS-HD MA, the output is DTS when the TV's HDMI eARC port is connected to an HDMI ARC port or when the audio is output through the Optical Digital Audio Output, and it is DTS / DTS-HD / DTS-HD MA, through the TV's HDMI eARC port. If the sound input is DTS-HD, it will be DTS through the Optical Digital Audio Output or to an HDMI ARC port, and it will be DTS / DTS-HD / DTS-HD MA, through the TV's HDMI eARC when connected to an HDMI eARC port. If the sound input is DTS:X, it will be output as DTS through the optical digital audio output, or when connected to an HDMI ARC port, and it will be output as DTS / DTS-HD MA / DTS:X through the TV's HDMI eARC port when connected to an HDMI eARC port...^Ivan
