“I want this TV but right now the dealbreaker is HDR. A few sites (including Best Buy claim the TV does not have HDR, yet a few (including LG's actual website) claim the TV has "Active HDR." Does this TV support HDR or not? Is Active HDR a mediocre HDR?”

Yes it has HDR, I have it on right now

Consumer Reports Magazine, November 2017, page 50, this TV has VERY-EFFECTIVE-HDR... CR paid $1,400 for it
