Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello there, James. Thank you for reaching out. We understand that your LG 65” Class UT70 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (Model: 65UT7000PUA) keeps turning on and off by itself. This could be due to several factors, and here are a few steps you can take to resolve the issue: Check the Power On Timer: Sometimes the TV is set to turn on automatically due to the Power On Timer. You can turn it off by going to Settings → General → System → Time & Timer → Timers and ensuring that the Power On Timer is set to Off. Disable HDMI-CEC (Simplink): If you have external devices connected via HDMI, they might be controlling the TV's power through HDMI-CEC. Disable it by going to Settings → General → Devices → HDMI Settings → Simplink (HDMI-CEC) and turning it Off. Make sure any connected devices also have HDMI-CEC disabled. Update Your TV's Software: Outdated software might cause issues. Go to Settings → Support → Software Update → Check for Updates to ensure your TV is up-to-date. Power Cycle the TV: Turn off the TV and unplug it. Press and hold the power button on the TV for 30 seconds. Leave the TV off for about 5 minutes. Plug the TV back in and turn it on.
