Not a direct answer to the BT connection, but in my situation I have a surround sound unit connected by a digital optical cable and I can have the tv and surround sound audio co-exist. There are a healthy amount of audio settings so I believe you could do this, but I have don't have any direct experience with this situation. Hope this helps...

When Bluetooth headphones are connected to the TV, the sound will only route to the headphones. The TV does not support simultaneous audio output to both Bluetooth headphones and the audio output (like optical or external speakers) at the same time. If you want to use external speakers or the audio output while listening through Bluetooth headphones, you would need to check if the TV's settings allow audio routing to multiple devices (which is typically not supported). In most cases, when Bluetooth is connected, the TV audio will only output through the Bluetooth headphones. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-65-class-ut70-series-led-4k-uhd-smart-webos-tv-2024/6593578.p?skuId=6593578 If you need further assistance, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and we’d be happy to assist you! —Renzo
