“Why can't I used dryer sheets in this dryer? Is it a safety issue? Please explain why I cannot use dryer sheets in this dryer? I did not know this before I ordered it today, and I have never heard of such in thing.”

We use dryer sheets in ours every day...this is the first I'm hearing that you're not supposed to use them.

Dryer sheets may harm those sensors/prevent them from functioning correctly. That is why it is not recommended to use dryer sheets in your new high efficient dryer. Instead you could use liquid fabric softener when washing your laundry.
