As you have noted, the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 7.3 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry - White, Model # DLE6100W has a width of 27" so if your door opening is 26.5", you still have 1/4" (0.25") on either side of the dryer to fit it through your opening although it will be a tight fit. IF it cannot fit through your door opening, you can try removing any protruding features like casing, pipe, and door to make space available or consult a general contractor for advice on how to create more space in your house...^Ivan.
