If your "energy star dryer" is an LG dryer, the pedestal you are using with it will only be compatible with LG Front Load dryers (i.e. controls on the front) that have the same width as the pedestal. The LG 7.3 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry - White, Model # DLE6100W, is a top load dryer (i.e. controls on the rear guard in the back), so it is incompatible with LG Laundry pedestals...^Ivan.
