Thank you for your interest in the LG 7.3 cu. ft. Electric Double Oven Range with ProBake Convection® and EasyClean® (LDE4413ST) model. To use the self-cleaning function on the LG LDE4413ST oven, follow these steps: 1. Remove all racks and accessories from the oven. 2. Turn the oven mode knob to select Self Clean or press Self Clean. The oven defaults to the recommended four-hour Self Clean for a moderately soiled oven. Press plus(+) or minus(-) to select a self-clean time from 3 to 5 hours. 3. Press [START]. 4. The oven door will lock automatically, and the Self Clean cycle will begin. The oven will heat up to a high temperature to burn off any food residue or grease. 5. During the Self Clean cycle, you may notice smoking or an odor. This is normal and should not be a cause for concern. 6. After the Self Clean cycle is complete, the oven will cool down and the door will unlock automatically. It is recommended to wait until the oven has cooled down before opening the door. 7. Use a damp cloth to wipe away any remaining ash or residue from the oven.
