Yes, the lock controls the burners as well as the oven doors. You hold the lock button for three seconds and then everything goes into lock mode. It takes about 15-30 seconds for the oven doors to lock. The burner knobs are almost instant. At least that's how it works on the model we purchased.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, definitely not. Most likely reason is that it would be potential fire hazard. You do have to push down and turn them to a click stop but they cannot be "locked" into position.
