Asked by jztherapist.
- A:Answer The door opens to the side if you grab it by the top corner opposite the hinge. If you grab it in the middle of its top, there's a clip you can depress that opens it from the top, but only for about 45 degrees. It makes a sort of chute that let's you load it without bending much.

Q: QuestionIs this Single phase electric or 3 phase electric? Can I get it in 240 3-phase?
Asked by Joe.
- A:Answer Hi Joe. The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.3 cu. ft. Smart wi-fi Enabled Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry Technology, Model # DLE7300WE has its own terminal block that must be connected to a separate 240 VAC, 60-Hertz, single-phase circuit, fused at 30 amperes (the circuit must be fused on both sides of the line). It is not available as a 240 VAC 3-phase. Keep in mind that throughout North America, homes are powered by 120-volt single-phase electricity. A typical residential circuit breaker box reveals four wires coming into our homes: two “hot” wires, a neutral wire and ground. The two "hot" wires carry 240 VAC, which is used for heavy appliances like electric ranges and dryers. However, the voltage between both hot wire and the neutral wire is 120 VAC, which powers everything else in our homes...^IFV

Q: QuestionConsidering buying this dryer but I have read A lot of the reviews stating that the dryer only dries until the clothes are damp and they have to run another cycle. Is this a user error or is it a flaw with the machine? Thanks
Asked by Taylor.
- A:Answer I have the similar experience. It is drier than damp, but not completely dry on some loads. I had the same issue with my last LG dryer, but I thought it was because of the age. Now it's different loads than the old dryer, so assume it is the sensor that determines if a load is dry. Both the washer and dryer were highly recommended on Consumer Reports, but I'm not thrilled.

Q: QuestionLG gives the depth for this dryer as 29 1/2 " (door closed). Hopefully this an accurate depth to include any element in the back of the appliance ???
Asked by FITZ.
- A:Answer When considering the depth realize that you have the vent pipe coming out the back which depending on how its connected may require additional room. My dryer is around the 29 1/2 but I have to have it sit out about another 2 inches to properly connect the vent pipe in the back. I am using a flexible pipe to connect the dryer to the vent pipe in the wall and they are not at the exact same height so the flexible pipe needs space to make them connect.

Q: QuestionA little confused. I thought I read the power cord is NOT included under the specifications tab, but in the question and answers section someone wrote that their dryer came with one. Mine is being delivered in 3 days and I didn't buy one.
Asked by Jake.
- A:Answer Hi Jake. Unlike Gas Dryers that come with a power attached, Electric Dryers do not come with an attached power cord. It has to be purchased separately. The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.3 Cu. Ft. 9-Cycle Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry - White, Model # DLE7300WE has its own terminal block that must be connected to a separate 240 VAC, 60-hertz, single-phase circuit, fused at 30 amperes (the circuit must be fused on both sides of the line). 4-wire connection is required for all mobile and manufactured home installations, as well as all new construction after January 1, 1996, so you will need to use a 30-amp, 240-volt, 4-wire, UL-listed power cord with #10 AWG-minimum copper conductor and closed loop or forked terminals with upturned ends. A 3-wire connection is NOT permitted on new construction after January 1, 1996 or in areas where your local codes prohibit grounding through the neutral conductor or in new branch-circuit installations, mobile homes or in so you cannot use a recreational a 30-amp, 240-volt, 3-wire, UL-listed power cord with #10 AWG-minimum copper conductor and closed loop or forked terminals with upturned ends. If in doubt, please check your local building codes or consult with your local building inspector...^IFV

Q: QuestionDoes this dryer have a "wrinkle release" setting? My Samsung has that feature and it's important to our family. Just wondering if that is an option on this one.
Asked by JMHmom.
- A:Answer Hello JMHmom. Not sure exactly how the "Wrinkle Release" function works, but different manufacturers will have a different name for the same function or a similar function. The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.3 Cu. Ft. 9-Cycle Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry - Graphite Steel, Model # DLE7300VE has a "Wrinkle Care" cycle option that will tumble the load periodically for up to 3 hours after the selected cycle, or until the door is opened.
