“We just purchased this dryer from the Bestbuy Outlet Store and got a great discount due to a few scratches. Got it hooked up and it makes a loud clicking noise when turned on. Is this normal?”

Hello wolfcreekgal, No that clicking noise is not normal at all. It seems like you might have purchased some else's previous problem that was returned to the store and Bestbuy has used it as a floor model.

Does not sound normal. Unfortunately, LG Manufacturer's Warranty does not cover damage or missing items to any display, open box, discounted or refurbished product. You can contact Customer Support by private message via Facebook @LGUSSupport with #VOC or call at 800-243-0000 for possible repair options that would be at your expense. Please be sure to provide your contact information, model/serial numbers and date of purchase. ^Daphane
